HIT THE REWIND!
A New Year is like rewinding an old VCR tape to play it again.
Every time you play it, the tape wears out just a little bit more, and the picture quality declines.
After about 50 replays, the tape is old and scratched. But maybe someone can still benefit from watching the tape -- depends what's on it I guess. Maybe the tape can still inform, or motivate or inspire.
Of course, one of these days the tape is just going to break or get chewed up by the VCR, and then it'll be thrown out and eaten by tape worms.
